GLENORCHY

It was Jen's birthday the previous Wednesday, so we thought we'd go up to Glenorchy for the weekend, do a bit of walking and just enjoy the scenary. This was my first booked time off since I started my work placement at NZONE and the weather forcast for Queenstown was terrible. Fortunately Glenorchy, which is only about 40km up the lake, was really nice pretty much all weekend!

Lake Wakatipu

You can see the weather coming down the lake in the two photos above, but everywhere we drove the sun just kept shining!

Beautiful forest!

No pictures this morning! Just an explaination as to where some of them went! As a favour to Mr Stephen Ward (good friend, best man & all round great guy) I have reduced my blogg to 2 posts per page. This is due to the fact that Steve & his lovely wife Tracy live in the middle of nowhere and are one of the few places left on Earth still unable to get broadband! Glad to help!
