GLENORCHY

It was Jen's birthday the previous Wednesday, so we thought we'd go up to Glenorchy for the weekend, do a bit of walking and just enjoy the scenary. This was my first booked time off since I started my work placement at NZONE and the weather forcast for Queenstown was terrible. Fortunately Glenorchy, which is only about 40km up the lake, was really nice pretty much all weekend!

You can see the weather coming down the lake in the two photos above, but everywhere we drove the sun just kept shining!
